Q. I'm an International student, do I need a UK Guarantor to book?
If you choose to pay termly, you are required to supply a UK guarantor who will guarantee to make your instalment payments if you are unable to. The Guarantor must be living in the UK, be in full-time employment or a homeowner. If you choose to pay your year's rent in full, you do not require a UK guarantor.

The University of Sheffield is a 5-minute walk. Sheffield Hallam University's City Campus is around a 19-minute walk and Sheffield International College is just 5 minutes away.

There is a Tesco Express directly below the student village.
Q. Is there a medical centre nearby?
Sheffield City GP Health Centre is only 7 minutes’ walk away on Broad Lane.
Q. Where is the nearest cashpoint?
At Tesco Express.
Q. Where is the nearest police station?
13 minutes’ walk away
Q. Where is the nearest post office?
11 minutes’ walk away on Upperthorpe Road.
Q. Where is the nearest gym?
The Fitness club Central gym on Surrey street is a 17-minute walk.
Q. How far are the bus/train stations?
The train and coach stations are 22 minutes’ walk away.
Q. Where's the nearest bus stop?
Only 5 minutes’ walk away.
Q. What's in my room?
Your room is fully furnished with: bed, desk, chair, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Q. Who cleans my flat?
You are responsible for cleaning your room and for cleaning your communal areas with your flatmates.
Q. Can I bring a pet?
Sorry, pets are not permitted.
Q. Where can I do my laundry?
There are on-site laundry facilities at each property.
Q. Can I have guests to stay?
Guests are permitted for a maximum of 2 nights in any week. Please sign them in at the reception on arrival.
Q. Is there anywhere I can store my bike?
There are a number of external bike rails located in the courtyards.
Q. Where do I collect my post from?
You need to write your full address on all post (letters and parcels) so it is delivered directly to your flat. The office will take deliveries if you are out of your flat but please let us know. If your parcel is taken by the reception you will receive a slip in your post box to notify you, which should be brought to reception with photo ID.
Q. How do I report maintenance issues?
You can visit the reception to inform us of the issue. Our maintenance staff will fix the issue, or refer it to an external contractor if necessary.
Q. Can I change my room?
If there is any availability you may be able to transfer rooms. A charge may be incurred.
Q. Do I need to have a TV Licence?
You will need to purchase a TV licence if you wish to watch or stream live TV in your flat. This can be shared with flatmates.
Q. What events do you arrange on the site?
We arrange several events throughout the year, which are well publicised in the blocks.
Q. What about safety and security on site?
There are staff on the site 24 hours a day, including security guards outside of normal office opening hours.
