Before the 1st August 2018: 
You can cancel your booking by writing to the property team at any time within 3 days after you complete your booking, this is your decision-making period. You will not be charged, and the property will return your deposit to you. 
If your decision-making period has expired, you can cancel your booking by to the property team at any time before the 1st August, however your security deposit will not be refunded.

If you are still with your decision-making period but you have already collected your keys, you are liable for all rent payments due under your tenancy agreement, unless a replacement tenant is found, and they enter in to a new tenancy agreement. You will be released from the date that the replacement tenant’s tenancy agreement starts, and you will be charged £50.00 from your security deposit.

1st year students not obtaining their required grades for University:
Prospective first year undergraduate students not achieving the grades required to secure their place at their preferred University/Higher Education Institution, resulting in their place being withdrawn, may be eligible to be released from their tenancy agreement. You must contact your property team and provide a written rejection letter from your chosen university/college or UCAS within 3 calendar days from the date results were published.

I'm an International student, do I need a UK Guarantor to book?

If you choose to pay termly, you are required to supply a UK guarantor who will guarantee to make your instalment payments if you are unable to. The Guarantor must be living in the UK, be in full-time employment or a homeowner. If you choose to pay your year's rent in full, you do not require a UK guarantor.

You are responsible for cleaning your room and for cleaning your communal areas with your flatmates.

Where can I do my laundry?

There are on-site laundry facilities at each property.

 

Can I have guests to stay?

Guests are permitted for a maximum of 2 nights in any week. Please sign them in at reception on arrival.

There are a number of external bike rails located in the courtyards.

 

Where do I collect my post from?

You need to write your full address on all post (letters and parcels) so it is delivered directly to your flat. The office will take deliveries if you are out of your flat but please let us know. If your parcel is taken by reception you will receive a slip in your post box to notify you, which should be brought to reception with photo ID.

 

How do I report maintenance issues?

You can visit reception to inform us of the issue. Our maintenance staff will fix the issue, or refer it to an external contractor if necessary.

 

Can I change my room?

If there is any availability you may be able to transfer rooms. A charge may be incurred.

 

Do I need to have a TV Licence?

You will need to purchase a TV licence if you wish to watch or stream live TV in your flat. This can be shared with flatmates.

 

What events do you arrange on the site?

We arrange several events throughout the year, which are well publicised in the blocks.

 

What about safety and security on site?

There are staff on the site 24 hours a day, including security guards outside of normal office opening hours.
