A non-refundable holding deposit of £100 to allocate a room. Unfortunately, cannot refund the holding deposit under any circumstances. When you move in your holding deposit will turn into a damage deposit and will be [returned at the end of your license minus any damages]. You will be required to top up the holding deposit prior to move in to make the deposit up to £250.

Book a room with Capitol Students for the 2021/22 academic year and you can cancel your booking before 31st July 2021. There will be no penalty charges and you will receive a full refund of any money paid.
No Visa No Pay, No Place No Pay
For 2021/22 academic year bookings, if you meet any of the conditions below, you will be able to cancel your booking and receive a full refund of your Booking Fee and any paid rent payments,
(a) No Visa No Pay: if you don't get your visa to come and study in the UK, you must send us the visa application rejection letter within 72 hours of receiving it. This policy is valid until 15 September 2021.
(b) No Place No Pay: if you fail to gain the required qualifications and is not accepted into the University, you need to send us the university rejection letter, or proof that the exam results don’t meet the requirements of the university. You must send us the proof documents within 72 hours of receiving them. This policy is valid until 15 September 2021.
General Policy
Once you have paid your holding deposit and you have been allocated a room, then should you decide to cancel then the holding deposit is nonrefundable. If you have paid the holding deposit and signed the licence agreement then you will be held to the terms of the licence until a replacement licensee is found. If you rebook a room for a subsequent year and your deposit is carried forward, and then you decide to cancel this booking then the deposit will be withheld.
Q. Can I bring my car?
All our developments are based in fantastic city center locations, with great transport links nearby. We also try and be as eco-friendly as possible so we don't encourage students to bring cars. Very limited parking is available on a case-by-case basis – if you have a genuine need to keep a car at university, you can contact the management for your chosen Capitol Students development to discuss your options. All our developments have nearby public car parks, perfect for when friends and family visit. Short-term car access is available for dropping off or picking up your belongings.
Q. Are there bike storage facilities on-site?
Yes – we try to be as eco-friendly as possible so each of our schemes have plenty of secure bike storage space.
Q. Am I allowed to bring electrical appliances with me?
For safety reasons, we can’t allow any overseas electrical equipment that doesn’t comply with all relevant British standards. We do not allow portable heaters in any of our rooms.
Q. How safe is my room?
Your room is very safe - all door entry is secured with a lock system and all communal space has CCTV.
Q. Do I need a guarantor?
Yes, a guarantor will be required for international students booking at the property.
