It offers Studios, 3-5 bedroom apartments.
Live independently in a Self-contained Studio apartment which features a personal bedroom with bathroom, study area, storage area, lounge and kitchen area. So, you can watch TV in the living room when you need a break from studies or take rest before beginning to study in the evening. Western Sydney University Village Bankstown Sydney also provides 3-5 bedroom apartments where you can choose to live in En-Suite and Non En-Suite rooms. So, you will have your personal bedroom where you can rest, study desk to help you complete your assignment, storage space for personal belongings. However, you will have to share your bathroom, living and kitchenette with other flat mates. So, you can fix up a time to watch your type of TV shows in the living area or cook a meal with flat mates in the kitchen. A one-off application fee of $110 is payable when submitting application for accommodation.
A one-off security deposit equivalent to four weeks rent is payable. Refunded back at the end of the tenancy with any damage charge deducted.
An annual, non-refundable fee of $100 (or $50 per semester) is payable when confirming the offer of accommodation.
Rent is payable by direct debit either fortnightly, half yearly or annually from a nominated account (a surcharge of 1.5% applies for all credit card payments).
Cancelation fee of upto two weeks rent is applicable along with ongoing liability of rent until a replacement tenant is found.
Q. What happens if I lose my key or fob key?
It's important to make sure that you always know where your keys are. If you do misplace your room key, please note that there is a $20 cost to replace your Fob Key and $197.50 cost to replace your metal room key. These costs will be placed directly onto your account and need to be paid immediately.
Q.How often will my room be inspected?
In conjunction with the RTA, inspections occur every 3 months.
Q. What happens if I get locked out of my room?
If you are locked out of your room during office hours, please make your way to the reception.
Q. How much does it cost to do laundry?
We have 16 front loader washing machines, which are $3 per wash.
There are also 16 dryers, which are $2 per day. There is a change machine available within the laundry if you require change.
Q. Can I book common spaces?
The common spaces are for all students.
Q. Can I have people stay over?
As per the village rules, you can have a guest stay no more than 2 consecutive nights in a 7 day period
Q. Is there after hour support?
Yes, there is 24/7 support of a staff member or resident assistant.
Q. Can I live if I am under 18?
To be eligible to live in the village, you should at least be turning 18 by the end of the first semester. A 'Guarantor Form' is required to be submitted prior to room confirmation.
Q. Can I have people to stay I my room?
