Unilodge on Flinders is a modern student accommodation located on Flinders Street in Melbourne. One of Melbourne’s most famous city streets that flows parallel to the beautiful Yarra River. RMIT, University of Melbourne, VIctoria University and Taylors College are all an easy walk away. The Flinders Street Railway station is across the road from the property, so travelling in and out of the city will be a breeze. Choose from a range of 1,2 or studio apartments and also enjoy games rooms, bike storage, common areas and lounges, communal kitchens, photo-copying, printing, vending machines and much more.
All studios and 1 bedroom apartments at Unilodge on Flinders student accommodation in Melbourne are well furnished and offer you the best of student living in the city. Each room comes furnished with a comfortable bed, ample storage spaces, a study desk and that is not just all. The apartment comes with a fully fitted kitchen and your very own bathroom. But if you are not looking to live all by yourself then you can also book a 2 bedroom apartment as well. These come with all the comforts of a studio with just one minor difference that you will be sharing your living, kitchen and bathroom with your friend. But trust us when we say that it is fun, you can come home to prepping your food together or watch a movie or invite your friends over and throw a smashing party. When not studying meet new people in the social spaces or you can challenge your friend to a game of pool in the games room. Watch your favorite movie on TV or you can also take your bike for a spin.

The Irish Times Bar is walking distance from the property and if you are looking to go out dancing over the weekend, then you will love it. Did we mention its just walking distance?!
International students in Melbourne will find plenty to do in the city, you can begin by exploring the graffiti laden streets. Not only are these streets beautiful, they are a work of art, you will find tours as well that will help you discover these lanes better! Another one that you cannot miss in Melbourne is the coffee. Known world over for the best coffee, it is a paradise for the coffee lovers. Also, you can visit Greece and Italy without even so much as taking a flight. All you have to do is head to the Greek Precinct and enjoy the authentic culinary delights that the place has to offer. The taste is enough to transport you to Greece. The Little Italy on Lygon Street is lined with cafes, Italian restaurants and shopping boutiques enough to let you enjoy the flavour of the beautiful country in an altogether different continent.
A security deposit equivalent to four (4) weeks rent is required, the Tenant must pay the first month’s rent and electricity connection fee as well to secure the booking. The security deposit is held in a trust account on behalf of the resident for the term of the tenancy and/or for any further period in which the resident may occupy the unit. The cost of repair or excessive cleaning may be deducted from the security deposit
Rent must always be paid in advance.
Payments can be made in the following way:
a) Bank Transfer into the Bank Account.
b) Direct Deposit at the bank into the nominated Bank Account.
c) Credit card at the reception desk during business hours
Updates to Policy
For all off-shore applications made to UniLodge, the property will be waitlisting these applications until such time as an announcement that the borders are opening.
So effectively, the property will not be offering contract leases, requesting security deposits or bonds, or any advanced rent.
The property will be filing all applications in date order and when it's announced that international travel will begin again, the property will proactively reach out to all applicants and progress their applications to bookings.
Regular Policy
Where a Resident believes that they cannot stay in the unit or continue to pay the rent, they must notify the management in writing as soon as possible - two weeks’ notice is the minimum time. When considering prematurely terminating your Tenancy Agreement, it is your responsibility to either continue to pay rent as per the agreement until the unit is re-let or find another suitable person to take over your unit so there is a continuation of payments to the unit owner.
The cost levied will be 2 weeks rent plus GST, $165 Advertising fee, and Rent paid until the apartment is leased again.
Q. Who pays for the electricity, water and internet connection?
The electricity and water connection and usage is included in rent – no need to pay bills at the end of each month, enjoy the high-speed 100GB Wi-Fi internet (monthly allowance), as part of the room rent.
Q. Will there be car park spaces available?
There will be a limited number of car park spaces available at an additional charge.
Q. Are pets allowed at this property?
Unfortunately pets are not accepted at this property.
Q. What kind of contracts are offered?
Full Year and Half Year leases are being offered. For requirements are outside of these terms, leave a query.
Q. What fees are payable to reserve my booking?
To secure your booking an advance deposit, which is an amount equal to four (4) weeks’ rent (inclusive of GST).
Q. When will the advanced booking amount be charged?
The advanced booking deposit will be requested for payment once the booking inquiry has been approved.
