Southern Cross University Village Lismore by CLV is a chic student accommodation located on Shop 11D Goodman Plaza, SCU, Military Road. It is well-placed next to many Universities. It offers good amenities like a study centre, university gym and bar, outdoor BBQ area at Orion, student lounge with theatre in Orion College, swimming pool in Sirius and Orion College, basketball and tennis court and parking space. It offers 1-6 bedroom apartments.
One gets to choose from multiple living options at SCU Village Lismore accommodation. If you study at Sirius College, then you should opt for a 2-3 bedroom apartment which features a fully furnished personal bedroom, study desk, storage area. However, you will have to share the bathroom, living and kitchen area with your flatmates. So, you can study for your test the next day in your room or play ping-pong with flatmates in the living area. SCU Lismore student accommodation also provides 3-6 bedroom apartments for students studying at Orion College. If you choose a 3-6 bedroom apartment you will have your private bedroom, study area and storage space. However, you will share the bathroom, lounge and kitchen area with others. Southern Cross University Village Lismore provides a 4 bedroom apartment for students studying at Magellan College. You will have your personal bedroom where you can crash at any time you want, a study area to help you concentrate better and storage space to keep your belongings. However, you will have to wait in line to use the bathroom or sit in the living area and cook in the kitchen as it is communal. SCU Village accommodation in Lismore gives you a Study Centre with internet where you can complete your notes or research online. One can make use of the nearby University Gym to keep fit or Bar to hang out with friends. Meet up with other college students at the Outdoor Barbeque Area at Orion College or watch interesting movies at the Student Lounge at Orion which features a theatre. SCU Village also gives you the option to swim in either Sirius or Onion College and prepare for your Basketball or Tennis match in courts near Magellan College. SCU Lismore accommodation provides on-site Car Parking and makes sure you are safe by providing CCTV, Roving security patrols at night and a 24/7 Staff Team to take care of all your woes.
International students in Lismore must-visit Lismore Regional Gallery to see rich artistic exhibitions from local and international artists. Others can visit Lismore Park to get some fresh air. Others who are not art lovers can go to CDB.

A one-off application fee of $50 is payable when submitting application for accommodation.
A one-off security deposit is payable. Refunded back at the end of the tenancy with any damage charge deducted.
A departure cleaning fee of $45 and a carpet cleaning fee of $40 is payable on acceptance of offer.
A data connection fee of $50 required for the connection of internet and a phone line in the room.
Rent is payable by direct debit either fortnightly, half yearly or annually from a nominated account (a surcharge of 1.6% applies for all credit card payments).
Updates to Policy
If you are an International Student, who wishes to apply for Semester 2 2020 accommodation but are unable to enter Australia due to Government Travel Restrictions, in relation to COVID-19, or a Domestic Student who is unable to attend University due to campus closures we have developed this flexible booking option for you.
• Any International Student who has applied at their nominated University, and is awaiting approval to travel to Australia.
• Any Domestic Student who has applied at their nominated University, and is awaiting confirmation that their courses will resume on campus.
More Information
Once you have secured your accommodation and entered into a Semester 2, 2020 Residential Agreement you will be eligible for this support option.
• Provide to us in writing the supporting official evidence stating that you are subject to Government Travel Restrictions relating to COVID-19 at a minimum of 14 days prior to the Residential Agreement contract start date
OR
• Provide to us in writing the supporting official evidence stating that your course will be delivered online.
• If you comply with these steps you will be refunded your Security Deposit, and Cleaning Fee (where applicable). Please note the Application Fee and Registration Fee (if applicable) are non-refundable.
• If the written notice is sent less than 14 days before the commencement of your Residential Agreement normal Early Termination policies apply.
Flexible Booking Policy
The policy will not apply where you have accepted a University Offer but you elect to defer or withdraw from your studies.
Q. What happens if i lose my key or fob key?
It's important to make sure that you always know where your keys are. If you do misplace your room key, please note that there is a $50 cost to replace your metal room key. This cost will be placed directly onto your account.
Q.How often will my room be inspected?
In conjunction with the RTA, inspections occur every 3 months.
Q. What happens if i get locked out of my room?
If you are locked out of your room during office hours, please make your way to reception.
Q. How much does it cost to do laundry?
There are three laundries located within the village, the washing machines cost $3 per load and dryers cost $4 per load.
Q. Can i book common spaces?
The common spaces are for all students.
Q. Can i have people stay over?
As per the village rules, you can have a guest stay no more than 2 consecutive nights in a 7 day period
