Scape Regent (formerly known as Atira Regent St), a contemporary student accommodation located on 15 Regent Street in Brisbane. You will be well placed near University of Queensland, QUT Kelvin Grove Campus in Brisbane. You will have recreational spaces as well as study spaces on each floor where you can enjoy with your friends or study in peace. You can choose to live in a five-bedroom en-suite apartment, a twin bunk studio or by yourself in a studio.
All rooms at Scape Regent student housing in Brisbane are well furnished and to the highest of standards so that you can enjoy comfortable student life in Brisbane. Each room comes with a shower, personal bed, study station and ample storage for all your belongings. You will be able to choose from a shared living room and kitchen or a private kitchen and living area. The shared apartments are great for those who are looking for more social interaction as you can host parties and entertain your guests in the living area. However, if you are the one for a more private space then you will enjoy the studios with your own living space and personal kitchen. The property has a light filled living areas with recreational spaces on each floor. You can come back home to spending time with your friends in the common room, or practice music in the room. You can also sit and observe someone else practising and enjoy. If you are looking for a quiet place to study then you can always sit down in one of the many study rooms.
When living at Scape Regent you will be amidst the best of what the city has to offer. International students in Brisbane will find plenty to explore. Spend a day visiting the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary or the Mount Coot-tha for walking trails, waterfalls, botanical gardens, mountain biking and planetarium. You can also take up many of the cruises or hop on a CityCat to explore Brisbane with a touch of difference.
Shady Palms Café and Bar is just 5mins from the property and a great place to unwind with your friends at. Get lost in the groovy music, enjoy the many cocktails and have a guaranteed good time with your friends. Working on an assignment and have no time to cook then you can head to one of the many restaurants around the student apartments in Brisbane. Robyn’s Charcoal Chicken is just 5 mins and the best place around to get a quick takeaway.

Updates to Policy
The Property is offering a deferral and cancellation policy for new bookings commencing in 2021 or semester 1, 2022 that provides flexibility if you are currently outside of australia and impacted by COVID-19. This means you can secure your new home now, but with peace of mind that you can change or cancel your new booking without any financial impact*.
DEFERRAL
If you have a booking and are not able to arrive in Australia because of COVID-19, you can defer your contract to the following semester. The same terms of the original booking will carry forward to the new semester booking, including the type of room you booked and even the same weekly rent.
CANCELLATION
If you need to cancel your booking with us for one of the reasons detailed below, all you need to do is email us no less than 14 days before your contract start date and we will cancel your booking and provide a full refund of any fees paid.
We will provide flexibility to defer or cancel if you are impacted by any of the below reasons, all you need to do is provide supporting documentation:
• Visa Denied - If your visa application is rejected or the visa centre remains closed in your respective country.
• Flight Cancellation/Travel Ban - If your scheduled flight is cancelled and an alternate flight is not available, or if there is a travel ban preventing travel from your country of origin or in Australia preventing you from arrival.
• Intake Delay of University/Education provider - If the start date of your course has been postponed to a later date or semester, or the university does not offer face-to-face learning.
** Our above Deferral and Cancellation Policy is only available to new students with a booking commencing in Semester 1, 2022 who have not previously stayed with us at one of our Scape Group properties and are currently located outside of Australia. Please note that once your contract commences, this policy no longer applies. This policy relates to individual bookings only; group bookings are not subject to the same terms and conditions. For students currently in Australia, please refer to Scape’s Standard Cancellation Policy. Should you need to delay your arrival by more than 14 days we may need to relocate your booking to an alternate property within The Scape Group portfolio in close proximity to your current building. Don’t worry, we will certainly be in touch to advise you of any changes and will honour the same room type and weekly rental rate.**
Regular Policy
Cancellation of an Agreement
ll agreements have a 48-hour cooling off period. Agreements cancelled within this period receive a full refund of the holding deposit (2 weeks rent).
CANCELLATION OF AGREEMENT BEFORE THE LEASE COMMENCEMENT DATE
If a cancellation is requested less than 14 days before the agreement start date, the student will be responsible for rent until a replacement tenant has been found.
CANCELLATION OF A BOOKING DURING LEASE
Scape reserves the right to charge the student, the costs incurred as a consequence of the student’s early vacation of the room/apartment including (but is not limited to) the reasonable costs of the re-letting the room, cleaning, loss of rent.
Q. What types of accommodation do you provide?
A range of studio apartments, Multi-Bedroom Apartments and Twin share studio is offered in this accommodation. Every building will have a different mix of rooms with different options.
Q. What’s included in my rent?
Your rent includes power, water and internet. You also get access to communal areas including a gym and games rooms and so much more.
Q. Do you allow for a short-term stay?
Yes, the short-term stay is under a 6-month period.
Q. Can I come to view the accommodation?

Q. Can I use public transport, is it close?
Public transport is one of the considerations for the placement of this accommodation. Train and bus stations are usually less than a 5-minute walk away.
Q. What size bed is in my room?
Depending on the size of the room you will either have a single, king single or double bed.
Q. Do you provide kitchen utensils and lining?
Yes
Q. Are we allowed to drink alcohol in the building or smoke on the balconies?
In this accommodation, it states that no smoking or alcohol is allowed on the premises. Drunk and disorderly behaviour is not tolerated in student accommodation.
Q. Am I allowed to have guests stay overnight?
The policy states that we do not allow guests to stay past 10 pm.
