Payment Info

To secure an apartment, the Tenant must pay two week’s advanced rent plus the cost of a mattress protector and shower curtain if applicable and a Security Deposit / Bond of 6 weeks rent.

Every resident must pay a Bond. This will be held by Consumer and Business Services on behalf of the owner of the apartment. Bond is 4 weeks rent if the weekly rent is up to AU$250.00, and 6 weeks rent if the weekly rent is more than AU$251.0
The Bond cannot be used for rent unless authorised by the Manager

The Bond (Security Deposit) is refundable at the end of a Residential Tenancy
Agreement if

1. All rent is paid up to date – and rent will be charged on a daily basis until all keys are returned.
2. All invoices are paid. There will be final charges for electricity usage and internet usage, and cleaning.
3. The premises is cleaned to our standards and all belongings are removed
4. Any damages are repaired.
5. All items on the inventory must be returned to their original position, clean and in good order.
6. All keys and swipe cards must be returned to our office

Payments can be made in the following way: 
a) Bank Transfer into the Bank Account. 
b) Direct Deposit at the bank into the nominated Bank Account. 
c) Credit card at the reception desk during business hours.

Booking Info

Once you have entered into an offer and acceptance agreement with the property, you are legally bound by the Residential Tenancies Act and deemed to be in a leasing arrangement.

We understand that from time-to-time issues can arise with your entry into Australia.

Cancellation without penalty is possible if:

  • you fail to meet student status requirement;

  • you fail to gain lawful entry into Australia

  • you cannot enter Australia due to border closures or restrictions

If you are unable to arrive on your selected date due to flight cancellations, we may be able to move your lease commencement date. Depending on the length of delay, there may be some financial penalties incurred. This is handled on a case-by-case basis. If your flight is delayed, please email us

Cancellation due to:

  • providing false or misleading information during your application or booking process

  • failure to pay your bond or rent in advance

  • failure to sign the Residential Tenancy Agreement when required

  • a change of mind will result in a monetary penalty. This may include forfeiting some or all of your advance rental payment and/or bond payment and is negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
