Q. What does it mean to have an individual lease?
A. Individual leasing means that each person is only responsible for their portion of the common areas and their bedroom. If your roommate ends up not coming back for the spring semester, you’re not responsible for their payment.
Q. What is included in the rent?
A. Rent includes: utilities (water, sewer, and trash pickup), extended cable, Internet, washer & dryer.
Q. Do you allow pets?
A. Yes, pets are allowed.
Q. Do you have a roommate matching system?
A. Yes, roommate matching system is available.
Q. Is there insurance coverage in the event of a fire, theft or natural causes? Does my lease provide coverage for my belongings?
A. Insurance will not cover your personal belongings.
Q. What furniture is provided?
A. Building is fully furnished with a full-sized bed, large desk and chair, and dresser. The living area comes with a comfortable couch, chair, coffee table, end table, TV stand and barstools. The kitchen comes fully equipped with energy efficient appliances, a refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer & dryer.
Q. I’m graduating in December. Can I get out of my lease agreement?
A. It does not allow residents out of their lease agreements due to graduation. However, residents are responsible to find someone to take over their lease. If you wish to go this route, please note that you are solely responsible for finding this replacement and having them complete a lease takeover before you are relieved of your financial responsibilities. Please call for further information.
Q. What do I need to bring to my new apartment?
A. Bedding, bedroom furniture, common area furniture, toiletries., dishes/cookware are some essentials that you are required to carry along.
Q. How do i recieve mail and pakages?
A. Your mail will be delivered to your apartment’s mailbox.
Q. What type of parking is available?
A. Parking is free and offers plenty of onsite car, scooter, and bicycle parking options. Each resident is issued a parking permit. Covered parking premium is available for residents that want it, which will reserve them a parking spot. Surface parking is first-come-first-serve; not assigned.
Q. Are utilities included?
A. Yes! Your installment covers all utilities; water, sewer, trash, even premium cable and high speed internet! Electricity usage up to $25 per room is also taken care of. If you go over this allowance the overage amount will be divided between all of the residents in that unit.
Q. Is internet included?
A.Yes! High-speed internet is part of your all-inclusive.
Q. Is cable tv included?
A. Yes! Every apartment is wired for a huge lineup of cable TV channels. You just supply the TV!
Q. Can i have overnight guests?
A. Yep! As long as you have discussed your guest’s stay with your roommates, you may have an overnight guest for up to three consecutive nights. Remember that guest parking is limited, so don’t forget to make sure they have the proper guest parking pass during their stay to prevent their car from being towed.
Q. Are there any additional fees I should know about?
A. When you sign your lease, you will pay a $60 application fee and a one-time community fee for unlimited use of amenities throughout the year. After that, the only additional fee you will see is $4.50 per month for Conservice, utility management company.
