To secure your room with us, you’ll need to sign your agreement and pay the £100 holding deposit which goes towards your first (or only) instalment.
If you’re paying in full, or if you’ve opted for a payment plan of 4 instalments, the first (or full) payment doesn’t need to be paid upon booking however it will need to be paid before your arrival in September.
If you’ve booked after the first instalment is due you will need to pay either the total amount if you are paying in full, or if you’re paying instalments the first payment.
COOLING OFF PERIOD
You are eligible to be released from your tenancy 14-days from signing your Licence and paying your £100- holding deposit. To be released within the 14-day cooling off period we would require written confirmation that you wish to cancel your booking. Upon receipt of such notice, we will refund your £100- holding deposit together with any other payments you may have made.
The Tenant, Guarantor and the Landlord agree that this Tenancy became contractually binding upon the Parties at the point of booking by virtue of the Tenant’s electronic acceptance of this Tenant and payment of the Holding Deposit by or on behalf of the Tenant (failing which this Tenancy and the associated booking shall terminate and be of no effect). Notwithstanding this, the Tenant, Guarantor and the Landlord agree that a hard copy of the Tenancy can be physically signed by each Party in separate counterparts of this Tenancy if requested by any Party.
If, prior to the Start Date, the Tenant is not accepted for the Tenant’s first year of study by an educational institution in the United Kingdom providing full time education the Tenant has a period of 7 days starting on the date of the Tenant’s receipt of notification of rejection from such educational institution in which to notify the Landlord in writing and to provide with that notice a copy of the rejection letter by either:
1st YEAR GUARANTEE
If you are a prospective first year undergraduate student and your offer of a place at your preferred University/Higher Education Institution is withdrawn by the University/Higher Education Institution because of you not achieving their required entry grades, you may be eligible to be released from your agreement.
You may also be eligible to be released from this agreement if you are a prospective first year undergraduate student and you choose to go to a different University because you have exceeded your expected grades.
To apply to be released from this agreement in the circumstances referred to above, you will need to supply us with a copy of:
A written rejection letter from your chosen University/College or screen shot of your upper secondary (high) school (or equivalent) status which confirms that the required results were not achieved; or
A copy of the proof of acceptance of your new University/College by required results adjustment
These document(s) must be received by us within seven days from the date your results are published. Please email the documentation to your Residence Team. On receipt of the required documentation, it will be verified and, provided we are satisfied, we will cancel your agreement
NO VISA GUARANTEE
If you fail to obtain a Visa before the start date of your tenancy, we will cancel your agreement and refund any rent payments made so long as you provide the following supporting documentation within 48 hours of receiving your official confirmation:
Supporting official evidence that your Visa was declined Written confirmation that you wish to cancel your booking.
Q. Do I need a guarantor to book?
Yes, an International guarantor will be required if you are paying in instalments or are 16-years-old. We collect all of your guarantor information and will send an email to them for you. Easy.
Q. What payment options are available?
We talk a lot to the people living with us so we know that payment options are important. You can choose to pay in 4 instalments or in full. It’s your choice.
Q. Do you have laundry facilities?
We have laundry rooms in all of our Nidos. You’ll have 24-hour access to washers, dryers and some sites will have ironing boards available.

Prices for a wash and dry can be found in your Welcome Book which you’ll receive upon checking-in. Payment is done through a pay-as-you-go card which can be purchased from a machine in the laundry room.
