To secure your room for 2020/2021, £0 booking fee and a deposit fee of £150 (refundable at the end of your tenancy subject to terms and conditions) to be paid when your Tenancy Agreement has been signed.

Mode of Payment

Credit/Debit Card-

You will need to complete the Credit/Debit card. We will keep these details to process your rent on each rent instalment date.

Cheque

You will need to provide post dated cheques for all the rental instalments in advance. The cheques will be banked by Mezzino on each rental instalment date. Cheques will need to be made payable to “Mezzino Ltd Pennine House rent”. Please ensure you write your name, apartment and room number on the back of the cheques.

Internet/Telephone Bank Transfer

You will need to transfer the rent on or before the rental dates. The bank details you need are as follows: -

Updates to Policy

1. If enrolment into the intended course is withdrawn as a result of coronavirus, Mezzino shall release the student from the signed contract subject to them supplying written evidence from their place of study. (University)

2. For students who have failed to get a visa or have received an admit reject for their University, Mezzino's standard cancellation policy will apply
    

 If you are unable to start University due to a government-imposed travel ban in place in either your home country or here in England we will allow you to cancel your contract.

If you do not get your Visa we will allow you to cancel your contract (subject to you sending us official written proof within 7 days of notification)

A student has the right to cancel this agreement by giving to the Landlord written (by email, fax or post) notice to reach the Company within 14 days of the date the Student accepted the Offer of the accommodation.

Q. When’s my rent due?

We collect your rent four times a year – in August, October, January and April. This allows you to avoid paying one big lump sum and also coincides with the issue of loan payments.

Some of our sites require you to provide a guarantor, if appropriate, you’ll be provided with details when you enquire about booking.

Q. What’s included with your rent?

Utility Bills
Your rent is all-inclusive of utility bills (subject to a fair usage allowance) – so you shouldn’t receive any bills for electricity, gas or water. No need to argue with your flatmates over bills!

Wi-Fi Internet Access
Every one of our sites offers high-speed WiFi internet access as part of your rent.

Contents Insurance
Your rent includes personal contents insurance from student insurance specialists Endsleigh.

24-Hour On-Site Accommodation Teams
Each Mezzino property is staffed 24-hours. We have someone ready to help you no matter when you need it. Site-specific security arrangements are also always included in rent.

Q. Can I share with my friends?

Mezzino understand that friends like to stay together. Therefore if you are applying as a group please:

Make it clear on the application form of the names of your group;
Size of apartment you require;
Talk to your accommodation team early as many buildings sell out quickly.
