New Bridewell

Nelson Street Bristol BS1 2BA

New Bridewell, a new and modern student accommodation is nestled on Nelson Street only minutes away from the city centre, University of Bristol less than 10mins away and you will find yourself at UWE Bristol in a short bus ride. You can choose from a range of studios and no extra cost for couples either! There are great social spaces to be enjoyed as well with the outdoor courtyard, TV room, games room, regular social events and a vending machine for all your late night snacking.

All rooms at New Bridewell student accommodation are well and thoughtfully designed and ensure that you have a great and comfortable stay. Each studio you will find to be very stylishly designed with a spacious workstation, organised storage for all your personal belongings, a small double bed, personal kitchenette – fully fitted so as whatever you need you will find here. You will have your personal shower as well so no more lurking in queues in the morning. If you decide on coming with your partner then there is great news, as you would not be required to pay anything extra for your stay. If not in the mood for relaxing in your room then you could unwind with your friends in the TV room or play a game of pool in the games room. The property also has an outdoor courtyard that is perfect for Sunday brunches and to enjoy the infamous British sun, which is rare so you will not want to miss it. If you are new in the city and worried that it will be hard to make friends and meet new people then fret not! The property organises regular social events where you can meet all the residents and make friends. There is a dedicated space for bike storage at the property, should you decide on bringing yours along. If you are studying late in the night and hungry then you will love the vending machine, great for mid-break snacking.

When living at New Bridewell Bristol you will enjoy the hustle bustle of the city and be close to the finest of bars, restaurants and shopping as well. International students in Bristol will also find Brunel’s SS Great Britain fascinating. It is a ship museum, you buy a ticket here once and it lasts you a year. So you can keep coming back for it is indeed a fun place to be. You can set foot in the ship itself and see everything inside. The ship on display here was recovered from the South America where it lay in the bed of the sea. It was brought back to where it was made in Bristol and now is a popular tourist attraction. Activities are ongoing for the length of the day here to keep you engaged and interested. You can also participate in a treasure hunt.

You will find yourself living across The Christmas Steps, it is a great pub to unwind at with your friends if you are looking for a mid week break. Enjoy the groovy music, old school feel and a few drinks with your friends. If you are on the other hand looking for a place to sit down and eat then you will love the many options you have surrounding you. You could also pop into Pizza Express for their delicious pizzas and a great time with friends.
