A security deposit equivalent to four (4) weeks rent is required. The security deposit is held in a trust account on behalf of the resident for the term of the tenancy and/or for any further period in which the resident may occupy the unit. The cost of repair or excessive cleaning may be deducted from the security deposit
Rent must always be paid in advance.
Payments can be made in the following way:
a) Bank Transfer into the Bank Account.
b) Direct Deposit at the bank into the nominated Bank Account.
c) Credit card at the reception desk during business hours
Once you have entered into an offer and acceptance agreement with the property, you are legally bound by the Residential Tenancies Act and deemed to be in a leasing arrangement.
We understand that from time-to-time issues can arise with your entry into Australia.
Cancellation without penalty is possible if:
you fail to meet student status requirement;
you fail to gain lawful entry into Australia
you cannot enter Australia due to border closures or restrictions
If you are unable to arrive on your selected date due to flight cancellations, we may be able to move your lease commencement date. Depending on the length of delay, there may be some financial penalties incurred. This is handled on a case-by-case basis. If your flight is delayed, please email us
Cancellation due to:
providing false or misleading information during your application or booking process
failure to pay your bond or rent in advance
failure to sign the Residential Tenancy Agreement when required
a change of mind will result in a monetary penalty. This may include forfeiting some or all of your advance rental payment and/or bond payment and is negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Please note any refundable fees will be processed within 14 days of finalisation of refund.

UniLodge has a deep understanding of the legislation in relation to accommodation for Under 18s and delivers a service which meets the heightened duty of care and underscores the safety and wellbeing of our of Under 18s.
To ensure that we deliver on this service, our Under 18s program is supported by a solid operating platform of processes and procedures, staff training and development, all of which underpin the delivery of this niche service offering.

Understanding how difficult it can be for young people, especially those arriving from overseas, to meet new friends and settle into their new environment, UniLodge ensures that our Community Spirit Program (CSP) is Under 18s friendly. CSP is designed to offer a wide range of activities for our Under 18s. Our Residential Advisors are on hand to help them interact safely in their new environment and enable students to safely explore all that Australia/New Zealand has to offer.
Q. Who pays for the electricity, water and internet connection?
Your electricity and water connection and usage is included in rent – no need to pay bills at the end of each month, you can enjoy the high-speed 50 GB Wi-Fi internet (monthly allowance), as part of your room rent.
Q. Will there be car park spaces available?
There will be a limited number of car park spaces available at an additional charge.
Q. Can I bring my pet with me?
Unfortunately, pets are not accepted at this property.
Q. Do I need to bring my bedroom and bathroom linen?
You can.
Q. What kind of contracts are offered?
Full Year and Half Year leases are being offered. If your requirements are outside of these terms, you can reach out to us.
Q. What fees are payable to reserve my booking?
To secure your booking an advance deposit, which is an amount equal to two (2) weeks’ rent (inclusive of GST).
Q. When will the advanced booking amount be charged?
The advanced booking deposit will be requested for payment once your booking enquiry has been approved.
