Castle Court is a boutique student accommodation located in Castle Park, Cambridge. It is at a short walking distance from Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin University. It offers great amenities like outdoor barbeque area, on-site gym, cinema room, games room, common room with pool, snooker and table tennis and Wi-Fi. They provide studio flats. That's not all, you'll also be super close to Clare College and Trinity College.

Booking Info

1.1 In respect of a ‘Block Booking’

a. Cancellations in respect of Block Bookings will only be accepted at the sole discretion of Study Inn.
b. All payments of License Tariffs due in respect of block bookings will remain payable without refund unless Study Inn
confirm otherwise in writing.

2.1 In respect of individual room bookings

The initial payment of £200 is Advanced Rent Payment and this money will be used against rent charges once the Period of License
starts.
a. From 10 weeks before commencement of the Period of License, on Advanced Rent Payment of £200 or more: -

  •  The Agreement can be cancelled by the Occupier giving Study Inn written notice of the cancellation.
  •  In these circumstances there will be a £50 transfer of the Agreement fee, which will be deducted from the monies paid to Study Inn. The remainder of the payments made to Study Inn will be returned to the Occupier.


b. Less than 10 weeks before commencement of the period of the License:-

  •  The current Occupier will have no right to terminate the Agreement, unless a Replacement Occupier can be found to take over the Agreement.
  • The current Occupier is obligated to find the Replacement Occupier.
  •  In circumstances where a Replacement Occupier IS NOT FOUND, the current Occupier will not be released from the current Agreement and will remain liable for the full contractual Occupation Tariff.
  • In circumstances where a Replacement Occupier IS FOUND for the Agreement
  • the current Occupier will be released from the Agreement with effect from the start date of the new Occupier’s Agreement, upon payment of a £50 transfer of the Agreement fee which will be deducted from monies paid to Study Inn.

ii. the current Occupier will lose any entitlement to discount offered at the time of the booking and any
refund due will be calculated on the basis of liability for the full OccupationTariff.
iii. the current Occupier agrees that Study Inn may employ the services of an Agent to find a Replacement Occupier. If the Replacement Occupier is found by an Agent, the current Occupier will be liable for commission due to the Agent and any refund due will be calculated in the basis of liability for the full Occupation Tarif


Cancellation due to special circumstances

: i. The current Occupier will have the right to terminate the Agreement if their VISA has been declined and the Occupier is denied entry in to the United Kingdom. The Occupier must give Study Inn written notice of the cancellation and provide proof of the declined VISA. In these circumstances, there will be a £50 transfer of the Agreement fee, which will be deducted from the monies paid to Study Inn. The remainder of the payments made to Study Inn will be returned to the Occupier and the Occupier will be released from the License Agreement.

ii. The current Occupier will have the right to terminate the Agreement if their University application has been declined and the Occupier is denied studying at the university in the United Kingdom. The Occupier must give Study Inn written notice of the cancellation and provide proof of the declined University application. In these circumstances, there will be a £50 transfer of the Agreement fee, which will be deducted from the monies paid to Study Inn. The remainder of the payments made to Study Inn will be returned to the Occupier and the Occupier will be released from the License Agreement.

iii. The current Occupier will have the right to terminate the Agreement if Occupier is unable to arrive due to the COVID-19 virus. The Occupier must give Study Inn written notice of the cancellation and provide proof of not being able to travel due to the COVID-19 virus. This could be due to an enforced travel ban by the countries which the Occupier is traveling from/to or; due to a possibility of contracting the virus by showing symptoms as per published guidelines by Public Health England and The World Health Organisation. In these circumstances, there will be a £50 transfer of the Agreement fee, which will be deducted from the monies paid to Study Inn. The remainder of the payments made to Study Inn will be returned to the Occupier and the Occupier will be released from the License Agreement.

Q. Can I move out during the agreement?

At any point you can move out during the License Agreement, but please note you are still responsible for the rent until a new student moves in. Our dedicated reservations team will aim to find a replacement as fast as possible.

Q. Can I choose where I wish to live?

Yes. As long as there is availability then you are eligible to choose to stay.

Q. Are there any additional fees to pay?

No additional fees are charged to move in.

Q. How long is the agreement?

The standard length of the License agreement is 50 weeks.

Q. What facilities do you offer?

The property provides you with many facilities such as a fully serviced and fitted room, SKY TV, boardrooms, TV lounges, X box and Play Station, gym and so much more. There is always something to do at your new home. 

Q. Can I move in early?

If a room is ready, then we will try and move students in early but generally, it is not possible although we do try. 

Q. Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes.

There is a fantastic study of social space as well as regular events for all students to take part in.

Q. What is the time duration to pay the advance rent deposit to receive a tenancy agreement and block the room?

The room allocation is based on first come first serve basis, request you to kindly pay the deposit amount as soon as a notification is received.
