Essentials

Deposit:
£500 to secure your room (The payment of £500 to secure the room will be used against rent charges. This means that there is no refund due at the end of the license agreement)

Payment Plans:
1 instalment - £500 to secure room and rest by 01.08.19 (receive £200 discount if you pay in full)

3 instalments - £500 to secure room; then instalments on 01.08.2019, 19.11.2019 and 19.02.2020

?Student loan payment plan (must provide proof of student loan) - £500 to secure room, then instalment on 01.08.2019, 20.09.2019, 01.01.2020 and 24.04.2020.

 

From 10 weeks before commencement of the Period of Licence, on payment of £500:
The Agreement can be cancelled by the Occupier giving Study Inn written notice of the cancellation. In these circumstances there will be a £50 administration fee, which will be deducted from the monies paid to Study Inn. The remainder of the payments made to Study Inn will be returned to the Occupier.

In the circumstances where a fee of £500 or more is paid and the offer of accommodation is declined i.e. the tenant fails to manually or digitally sign a Licence Agreement, Study Inn will retain £100 from the deposit in lieu of administration charges.

From 10 weeks before commencement of the Period of Licence, if £500 plus 1st Installment has been paid:
The Agreement can be cancelled by the Occupier giving Study Inn written notice of the cancellation. In these circumstances there will be a £250 administration fee, which will be deducted from the monies paid to Study Inn. The remainder of the payments made to Study Inn will be returned to the Occupier.

Less than 10 weeks before commencement of the period of the Licence:
The current Occupier will have no right to terminate the Agreement, unless a Replacement Occupier can be found to take over the Agreement. The current Occupier is obligated to find the Replacement Occupier.

In circumstances where a Replacement Occupier IS NOT FOUND, the current Occupier will not be released from the current Agreement and will remain liable for the full contractual Occupation Fee.

In circumstances where a Replacement Occupier IS FOUND for the Agreement 
- the current Occupier will be released from the Agreement with effect from the start date of the new Occupier’s Agreement, upon payment of a £250 release fee which will be deducted from monies paid to Study Inn.
- the current Occupier will lose any entitlement to discount offered at the time of the booking and any refund due will be calculated on the basis of liability for the full Occupation Fee.
- the current Occupier agrees that Study Inn may employ the services of an Agent to find a Replacement Occupier. If the Replacement Occupier is found by an Agent, the current Occupier will be liable for commission due to the Agent and any refund due will be calculated in the basis of liability for the full Occupation Fee

During the period of the Licence Agreement:

Refunds:
A Fee of £20 will be added when refund made to international bank account.

Can I move out during the agreement?

At any point you can move out during the License Agreement, but please note you are still responsible for the rent until a new student moves in. Our dedicated reservations team will aim to find a replacement as fast as possible.

Will I get a refund if I move out early?

If you move out early then a refund is calculated from the day a new student moves into your room. Please note there is an initial cancellation fee of £250. 

Does the Reservation fee guarantee me a room?

The reservation does not guarantee you a room, but it allows you to be kept up to date with availability so you do not miss out on the chance to secure your chosen room type. 

Can I choose where I wish to live?

Yes. As long as there is availability then you are eligible to choose to stay.

Are there any additional fees to pay?

No additional fees are charged to move in.

How long is the agreement?

The standard length of the License agreement is 50 weeks.

What facilities do you offer?

The property provides you with many facilities such as a fully serviced and fitted room, SKY TV, board rooms, TV lounges, X box and Play Station, gym and so much more. There is always something to do at your new home. 

Can I move in early?

If a room is ready, then we will try and move students in early but generally it is not possible although we do try.
