All Londoners are in a festive mood, holiday cheer and crazy shopping, whetting their appetite with the most delish food and tripping over wine with not a care in the world. And students are definitely not an exception. You will thank your stars that you stayed back at your student accommodation for the holidays as there are some super cool  2019 Christmas parties in London this year. This once in a lifetime experience will make you want to come back for more.

The lights coming on, on Oxford Circus is always a big thang and Harrods has its own Christmas Bus that you can hop on and feel the Christmas spirit with other good-hearted jolly people singing the carols. Feel The Xmas Spirit.

Each year around Christmas the National History Museum, Somerset House and London Eye transform into a frozen paradise with ice skating rinks where you will find families, tourists, couples, nearly everyone enjoying themselves. If you take our word for it the sight looks like it came out of a postcard. You need to visit this even if you do not know how to skate, falling on frozen ice will be just as adventurous and obviously, hilarious!

The Apple Market in Covent Garden is also a must-visit for its mulled wine, jacket potatoes, hot chocolates at Godiva or get yourself macaroons and wine at Laduree. There is so much more that will be happening at Covent Garden with the Christmas Tree all decorated and lit, street performances and handmade gifts that you can buy from a selection of amazing stalls. You shall also hear people playing live on the guitar and singing happy songs. It will all be in the air and hard for you to miss.

Then the most-awaited and iconic is the New Year’s Eve Fireworks at the London Eye. You can buy tickets for the spectacular show, here you will find the entire London (and students of course) coming together, tourists camping out to get the best view and people ready with food, drinks and their paraphernalia all set to have a great night. At the stroke of midnight people, FaceTiming to wish their families all around the world, all in different time zones and a DJ that shall be entertaining you all night long with party chartbusters.

You can also enjoy the fireworks from the cruise, or the restaurants along the bank, The Shard or Aqua in The Shard is also a good place to enjoy fine food and the fireworks with your friends, that is if you are not one for the crowds.
