You will find this speakeasy in an underground location and with a bunker styled party going on. It is a massive space but due to its popularity it is always packed, hence we suggest you arrive early if you like to sit, enjoy your drink and talk. The bar has a vintage theme and stays true to it throughout. International and local students are ought to have a good and relaxed time here.
Hustle and Flow
One of the first of its kind Hip Hop bar is loved by every student. Belting out all latest Hip Hop tunes to get you going and the interiors also to match the theme. You shall find the walls adorned in images of Hip Hop worlds famous icons. With the easy on the pocket bar menu this shall soon become yours and your University classmates favourite weekend spot.
ADELAIDE
Hennessy Rooftop Bar
Go here for a old meets new vibe, hidden on the top of Adelaide’s hottest Hotels. You shall find a classy and sophisticated feel to this bar. Keep a look out for their popular events that they more than often host.
Baddog Bar
If you are looking for your regulars then this is not the place for you. Students will not be able to find Appletinis or Cosmos here, lookout for their rugged selection instead Four Pillars Gin Gunpowder Proof Negronis or Death’s Door Martinis. The interior is grunge and raw meets cool, something out of the ordinary and we are sure you will like.
Laneway IV
There is no way you should miss out on this pretty gem. The bar management constantly is redecorating the bar to compliment the season. The transition is so quick that you shall walk out the previous night and the next day walk into a different theme altogether. Now its no mean feat to revamp so quickly. Honestly we do not know how they achieve the same. Regardless we strongly suggest you do not miss out on this one.
Brisbane
QUT Garden’s Point-Botanic Bar
We guarantee that before even you enter weekend you would have already at least once explored QUT’s Gardens Point campus student bar. The bar 6 days a week opens from 10:30 am until wee hours of the night. Grab a drink with your classmates mid week if you may please. Also you shall find regular dance nights at the bar with free classes, so grab a partner and join in!
Fat Louie’s
This is a place with a vibrant cultural twist. Imagine singing with your friends to English, Japanese, Korean or Chinese tunes. You can also play a game of pool with your friends here. There drinks menu here is student friendly and easy on the pocket and same goes for the food menu as well. The party vibe will get you grooving.
Stock Exchange Hotel
Don’t be fooled by the name this place has a great rooftop terrace and a bar that hosts live music on mostly all nights, you will have a DJ on Sundays. Thursday night is for students with beer and fried chicken, so do not miss it.
