1. Hampstead Heath Park

Hampstead Heath Park London is one of the most loved parks in London. There’s plenty of things to do like visiting the Parliament Hill, Golders Hill Park-with a zoo and a gorgeous butterfly house, an open-air Lido, swimming ponds, splash pools, countless sports pitches and facilities, athletics track, playgrounds, stunning listed Pergola and Hill Garden. 2. Richmond Park 

Beautiful grasslands and deer herds are just minutes away from Central London. Head to Richmond Park, one of the best parks in London, which is also a National Nature Reserve to relax in the lap of nature. This park is a famous site for some of the most ancient trees and the rarest species of wildflowers, beetles, and bats. And that’s not all! When at Richmond Park, try horse riding, golf, off-road cycling and even power kiting. Now, doesn’t that make it the coolest day out with your college friends? 3. Hyde Park

Hyde Park is centrally located and loved by many residents as well as international students. This gorgeous park is spread across 350 acres of land. It has more than 4,000 trees, a lake, a meadow, a rose garden and several ducks enhancing the beauty. Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain is also located in this park. Hyde Parks also makes for the perfect place to jog. So, put on your running shoes and amp up your fitness game! If you’re in the mood to go boating in the Serpentine river that flows across 40 acres, you can do that too. Now isn’t that a cute date idea? Hyde Park is open from 5 AM until midnight every day.

4. Battersea Park

Built-in the 1850s, Battersea is a beautifully built 200 acre, Victorian Park. Battersea has marvelous fountains and a zoo for children. A spacious riverside promenade is famous among the joggers. You can even rent boats during summers. There’s also a Pump House gallery and a ceremony venue. Try not to crash a wedding, though! Battersea is open from 8 AM until dusk daily.

5. Greenwich Park

Greenwich Park London has the most iconic views of the city and River Thames to offer. Stroll around the most ancient parks in the city. You might even come across a small herd of deers. There are several cafes around to keep you going. To beat the sudden hunger pangs, head to The Pavillion Cafe, Park View Coffee Cabin or the White House Cafe for some delicious food items on their menus. The Royal Observatory in Greenwich Park is a sight that you shouldn’t miss out at any cost. The park is accessible to all visitors from six in the morning till six in the evening, except for April to September when it is open for longer hours in the evening.

6. Victoria Park

Victoria Park is London’s first public park. It is also known as Vicky Park. Stroll through the beautiful canal, ponds, and pavilion. You can also be a little sporty at the tennis court or the sports playground. Did you know that over nine million people visit Victoria Park every year? No wonder it is known as the People’s Park in London. You wouldn’t starve even after spending the entire day here. Thanks to The Pavillion and The Park cafes located right here. The park opens at 7 AM every day and closes at dusk time.

7. Regent’s Park

Regent’s Park London contains the largest outdoor sports area. So, if you are into sports, there is probably no other place to get your game on! Witness the beautiful roses in the Queen Mary’s Garden or feed the ducks while boating in the lake. That’s not all. There are more than a hundred species of wild birds and several hedgehogs too. Plenty of cool places like Regent’s Bar & Kitchen, The Espresso Bar, Kiosks and more are the perfect places to grab a bite. The park opens at five in the morning, up until nine at night.
